Strasbourg

I ended the month of February with a very spontaneous (that is how we like it) trip to Strasbourg, France. It was kind of a gloomy day, but we sure were happy that rain was absent, so we could really enjoy exploring the city. I had some mixed feelings about it at first, expecting it to be 'shinier' looking, since it's one of the locations of the European Parliament and other EU Institutions, but in the end I could see the beauty in it and actually loved the day spent walking around in the cold air.
Oh, those buildings...That is why Europe is such a unique place in the world! It has history, charm and wonderfully preserved locations, such as the old city of Strasbourg
