After lazying around the house in the early morning, my husband and I had to race against the clock to make our 11am appointment to go to the top of Burj Khalifa in Dubai.
We made it at the ticket counter at 11:01 and got all giddy about the whole experience!
It is extraordinary and I have no words to describe what it means to be witness to such an amazing example of design, engineering and art, a union of many cultures and a life force of collective aspirations - to put it in the words of it's makers.
Definitely worth a visit, but try to make online reservations for 125dhs/ticket, since the immediate admission will cost you about 400dhs.
Here are my photos from the day (more to come), hope they help you imagine the feeling!
