By now everyone should be accustomed to the fact that my blog posting is way off... I seem to be having a hard time catching up and keeping up with the proper timeline, but as I always said, as long as I get to post and have things mentioned in here, I"m happy
All holidays spent far away from family and close friends are a bit difficult. If we were in Romania, we would have prepared plenty of easter-specific foods, set a nice table, went to church, returned home to enjoy our meal, wear new clothes and share a laugh over who won the most red eggs... I put quite a bit of pressure on myself to keep at least some of this tradition alive. Adding to it, I am not the most disciplined person and I must admit, it was a bit of a struggle to get everything done on time and prepare some things to make it a nice Easter for everyone.
It wasn't all positive, happy feelings, but in the end, after a long talk with my awesome husband, I just stopped stressing about doing everything perfect and enjoyed every last moment after that. It's the memory that counts and we do have the best memories together!
